Ella has gotten to a point in her life where nothing feels certain. Her relationship with her parents has been getting worse and worse, she's been missing her old best friend more than ever and she hasn't really been feeling like herself. You could say she just feels lost. Then a new girl comes into town and she seems to have the answers to all the questions Ella has been too afraid to ask. With her help, Ella might be able to figure out who she really is. But will Ella be ready to face herself?

Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life.
