This story takes place when Klaus comes back to Mystic Falls to gloat over Katherine's corpse to be and runs into Caroline. It goes on to tell what could have been the outcome of that situation.
I would recommend to have seen The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
This is also going to be more of a draft, almost like I'm explaining a theory to you.
