Nini Salazar-Roberts was an overnight sensation. Her rise to fame started at a ripe twelve years old. She was taken from her simple life in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to LA. Life changed for her pretty drastically and when she finally comes back home after six years for a talent competition she's hosting, she find that everything back at home has changed too.

Ricky Bowen. East High's skater boy. His life was also turned upside down. With his parents going through a tough time and his best friend leaving him and never coming back, he's definitely felt forgotten. His world is shifted when that best friend comes back and their paths cross again.
