You Deserve Better
"You know people always say, God never makes mistakes but..." Ace begins, "You ever think of all the things God created, the high skies, the endless seas, the eternal gardens... You ever think of all the things he made, You were the one mistake that slipped through?" He tries his hardest to keep his voice monotone but his shaky demeanour gives him away "Ace..." "Like your life was written from the start for the purpose of destruction? Like you were made to be the villain to everyone else's hero?" He scoffs, not even being able to look me in the eyes. "People search this life forever, wondering what their reason to not give up is, what their motivation is. What their purpose in this scary world could possibly be-" His eyes finally find their way to mine. His rough hand taking its place on the soft spot of my cheek as his thumb rubs my jaw. "Eden, you are my purpose." ---------------------------- Eden is the perfect Church Girl in everyone else's eyes. her heart is set on only one thing and that is seeking God but little do they know her Masturbation addiction is the one thing that stops her from knowing God, that and the toxic love she has for the pastors son Ace Davis. The Bad boy's Prayer
**2ND PLACE IN THE WATTY'S OSCAR AWARDS ** "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CARE !? " I yelled in her face making her coward back in fear , just how I like them. "I really am sorry Logan ..." "NOT ENOUGH. IF YOU THINK I'VE MADE YOUR LIFE HELL BEFORE, JUST YOU WAIT !" And with that , I grabbed my bag, leaving her in her pile of misery. If she thought I was going to stay after that little performance of her , she had another thing coming. "Logan please! Don't do this . I promised your mom I would help you . Even if it means I have to sit through your insults " she said , yanking me back by my backpack. I was beyond peeved at her right now. "Who do you think you ARE little 'I'm a church girl ' !? Who gives you the RIGHT TO JUST YANK ON ME ! INCASE I HAVEN'T MADE IT CLEAR YET ; LET ME MAKE IT CLEARER. " I looked her straight in the face and jabbed my finger " DONT. YOU . DARE. TOUCH. ME. AGAIN! " As I pulled back her eyes started to gloss over , making her stumble backwards and hit the wall behind her. Pathetic. **** Logan Delgada was your typical , stereotypical super popular , rich jocks that thinks the world revolved around him. The type of guy that walks around with the attitude that 'the party doesn't start until he gets there ' . Like he's a gift to the world. Amaya Parker is a preacher's daughter. The youth leader at their church. She hides away in big crowds and does everything in her will power to keep everyone around her happy. He's rude. She's thoughtful. He swears . She's won the spelling bee. So what happens when a simple prayer makes these two worlds collide ? *started 28 February 2019 * *finished 22 January 2020* *edited 28 January 2020*Complete
Unfailing Love (Heart Series #3)
Dani has loved Josh since high school. It started out as a crush, but a senior trip changed their lives forever. Suddenly, they were making a movie and swept into the glamorous but dark life of the rich and famous. They fell into a world where sin and self-rule and nothing is as it seems. When Dani becomes pregnant, Josh's heartfelt proposal shocks her. Desperate, Dani wants to accept but she's afraid he only asked because he's a new believer and trying to please Jesus. She turned him down, had her child, and signed away her parental rights. After four years of regret, Dani goes home to fix her mistakes but it's too late. Josh is engaged to another woman and she no longer fits into their lives. As she tries to mend her relationship with her son, Dani also grows closer to the Lord. Is it God's will for Dani to watch Josh marry another woman and have her raise Dani's son? Dani and Josh are both praying and determined to please the Lord, but neither of them is sure of His plan. They will need faith and the Lord's unfailing love to see them through. This is a STANDALONE STORY, but there are characters from With All Your Heart & Leaving the 99. Bible quotes are from the NIV version. Upates MWFComplete
