The Fae people of Hilaven are suffering. The Queen's se'er comes to Sam with a request. On the other side of the wall that separate's them from the human world of Asteria, is a girl that has the power to free the Fae from their suffering. The Dark Fae are growing stronger in power and it won't be too much longer before they are strong enough to break through the wall and take over Asteria.

Lia has been told about the world of Hilaven in stories her Grandfather used to tell her at bedtime. She never thought that the Fae world was real until one day when strange things start happening in her home of Summerton and she keeps having the same dream about a great big wolf. When a strange man comes to Summerton and says that he is from Hilaven, she has a hard time believing that he has the right girl. But as time goes on she starts to see signs that she might just have the power he is talking about. Who were her birth parents? Why do the Dark Fae want to kill her? Can a Fae male have feelings for a plain human girl?

Things don't go exactly to plan and she will need all the help she can get from Sam's friends and the new friends she makes along the way.
