"You went to community college and then a no-name medical school. So tell me, Ella, why do you think you deserve to work here at Olympia Medical Center?" he taunted, without bothering to look up from the packet that he was flipping through.

"Well, Dr. Apollo, I graduated top of my class and got the highest licensing exam score in the country," she paused for a bit and then added, "and it's Dr. Ward, not Ella".

Taken aback by her boldness, he looked up straight at her and a devilish smile started to creep up his face.

"Hired. Dr. Ward you are hired. I will see you in the unit tomorrow at 7 am."

Ella never thought that she'd even get the chance to go to college, much less graduate from medical school at the top of her class. Her life had been tough, but she knew that with hard work and sacrifice, she could accomplish everything that she has every dreamed of.

But Apollo Olympios was going to make her life a living nightmare.

Ella finally got hired as a surgery resident at one of the top hospitals in the country, but little did she know that her direct supervisor is literally the devil - or rather, Greek god - in disguise. Apollo seems to go out of his way to make her life a living hell after she allegedly reported him for using abusive language towards his assistant. Apollo won't let go of his stubborn grudge against her and Ella vehemently disapproves of his rude and dismissive attitude. Will they learn to settle their differences or will their petty feud set Olympia Medical Center up in flames?
