The story of remnant, most people know it well, how a women tried to trick the gods into bringing her love back to life. After that the gods decided to punish her and any of her followers. They killed almost all humans with the survivors no longer possessing magic. With this they gave humanity the task of survival with women being punished to act as the protectors with the gift of aura given out of pity by the god of light.
