This story is a submission for Science Fiction's January 2020 short story challenge. It should be standalone, but can also be considered a continuation of Etchings, a story I wrote in my universe under the name EliasBrahe for Science Fiction's November 2018 short story challenge.

My father saved the world once and he's working on saving it again, but I'm going to kill him. Even if the nanotech he pioneered might solve every problem facing the earth, he still needs to die for what he did. I don't care that I'll get experimented on like a lab rat, that I'll have to join his cult-like Butler Institute and pretend to be his loyal follower like my hundred brothers and sisters, or that his tech makes him nearly invincible.
