The feral Tressa vies against an unstoppable entity for her place in the New World, heedless and uncaring of the consequences her actions will have upon the coming centuries.

This story is a submission for Science Fiction's January 2020 short story challenge. It should be standalone, but can also be considered a continuation of Etchings, a story I wrote in my universe under the name EliasBrahe for Science Fiction's November 2018 short story challenge.
