LOTR: The problems with Thursday - Merry Brandybuck FF
You all know Merry Brandybuck yes? The hobbit who fell down the hill and landed on a carrot, Who joined the fellowship, who helped the Ents over run Isengard, Who became an esquire of Rohan? yeah that guy. Well this is a story involving him. It takes place just before they set out on their adventure to destroy the one ring and save middle earth. But this isn't just about Merry. There's another who you won't have heard of. Alora Headstrong is a young hobbit of the shire, Bywater to be more precise. She is the height of 3ft 6" and has short chocolate brown hair which is always curled perfectly. Her eyes are a deep blue/green colour and she is quite smart as you would say. Anyway, this is the story of how she find a new friend (Merry) while disobeying her father, over comes most of her fears and maybe, just maybe, finds the guy of her dreams. After meeting Merry 18 years prior, and then being forbidden from leaving the house on her own, Alora is given permission from her father to go to a party at the Green Dragon Inn. There she spots somebody who looks strangely familiar... After becoming friends, she soon finds herself falling for a guy. But two things stand in their way. Alora's Father and a bit of competition. This is the story of one of your favorite hobbit's crazy love life in the months before he becomes a hero. slight All Time Low hints in this :L just words that relate to a particular song thought. simply because i'm that cool guys! I could feel a cold, icy gaze barrel straight through my soul. Actual crystal shapes frosted white marked the edges of the creature's vision. A long, thin tail with a thin frost layer gently wrapped around me. Normally I would've run, escape through the trees to the best of my abilities. But I couldn't. The icy blue gaze was hypnotizing. The dragon gently puffed frost in my face. Small, gleaming white teeth caught the snow. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. I was gonna die. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kiara has lived on her own for as long as she can remember. But when she finds her fate caught with the Dragon Riders, secrets are uncovered about her identity, and she has to choose between fighting her father...or facing the only friends she'd ever known in battle. Secrets, betrayal, and lies, all circling Kiara's life as she struggles to fit in with the Riders, and find where her fate truly stands. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.Complete

The kingdom of Numenor has been on the decline, ever since they forsake the ways of the elves. Not to mention the time when Ar-Pharazon ursurped the Queen regent Tar-Miriel from her throne ever since she returned from her voyage without her eyesight and after the passing of her father. It wasn't until Elendir was put into prison and after she succesfully faced the trials of the Sea, that their horrendous reign of terror was put to a screeching halt. Unfortunately, the damage done by them from the influence of Suaron and his treachory the damage was done. Which is when the Valar decide to pay them all a visit, and inform them of the doom that will shortly befall this once great kingdom. At first she thought that her dream many moons ago, of a great wave crashing into the buildings and destroying everything in its path was just a nightmare. However, it was the visit from the Valar which sadly confirmed, the very things she was afraid would be true. In order to ensure the safety of her people, Miriel bravely steps up and makes the ultimate sacrifice by staying behind, an action that absolutely horrifies the son of Amandil. So, the great queen regent, and the captain of the sea guard, share one last night of full of passion and love together before they get separated seemingly, for the foreseeable future in their eyes. This adult romance is full of love and mutual desire, but also doesn't shy away from the sheer grief experienced from losing the one that was so close to their heart.Complete

My version of Eöl's tale - what if instead of bringing misery to Aredhel and setting the events in motion, causing the fall of Gondolin, he meets a soulmate that challenges, puzzles and completes him? Someone who would balance him out and dispel his darkness? Not a hero, not a noble elven lady, but an ordinary human. Why accepting the gift of Ilúvatar might be better than an eternal life in darkness. If you are in for a speculative retelling of Tolkien story, or simply want to read a dark angsty elf-human romance, dive in! This is one of my first Fan Fiction I wrote a while ago.
