Charlotte is seventeen and has the perfect life. Her family owns one of the biggest companies in the world; she's rich, popular and goes to the best private school in the country. There's only one problem: Charlotte isn't happy. Being a member of the Anderson-family means expectations are always high, or as her father would say: Anderson means A.  

When she meets a handsome stranger at the 18th birthday party of her best friend, she doesn't feel like she needs to fake perfection. She tells him about her family and her insecurities, thinking she will never see him again ... until he shows up at her boyfriend's end-of-the-summer party.

While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
