Welcome to Asgard, the city of gold and home of the gods and goddesses. Ruled by the Alfather with his wife and two sons. Most citizens of Asgard work in the villages but the lucky ones work in the palace as guardsmen, servants, chambermaids and healers. I am one of those people, I work as a chambermaid for some of the most powerful people in all of the Nine Realms. This is my story and how this place changed my life.

Asgard- home of the beautiful. Home of the gods and goddesses of the Norse Tales. Buildings built in gold and quartz, the wealthy wearing lavish robes with silver and gold embroidery. It's the home you grew up in, the home in which you served under The Allfather himself. Trained since the tender age of 15, you are part of an elite squad of soldiers. It just so happens you were trained with both Princes of Asgard: Thor and Loki along with the names of many young legends. No matter the royalty of the princes, Prince Loki seems to press all of your buttons simply for fun. As much as you hated it, you began to fall for the Prince of Mischief, rather than the mighty Thor himself. Years later people hold high respect for your name, your small family rising from the slums. Author's Note: For some strange reason, this story was "unpublished" so I have resubmitted it, sorry for any confusion! Jamie Martin is Nick Fury's newest agent. Its post 2012 by several years - Loki is no longer the enemy, there is a new adversary - The Dark Elves. They destroyed most of Greenwich battling for the Aether but they were defeated and are gone - for now. Malekith their leader has decided the Casket of Ancient Winters, will serve to give him what he wants more than anything. To rule the 9 realms in perpetual night. Fury sends Jamie to Asgard to help protect the Casket. Loki takes exception to her presence inferring they cannot do the job themselves and shows it. Can they overcome their mutual animosity and work together to stop the destruction of everything they know? This takes place in an alternate timeline based around and after the ending of Dark World.
