In the land of Zerinth, the powerful sorceress Divora is the keeper of the Grimoire of Genesis and the Staff of Light: the world's most important sources of magic. Only she can read the secrets of the Grimoire, which makes her the target of many enemies. The biggest threat against her is her former protege Nexus, who felt he was cheated and turned to Dark Magic.
Nexus manages to overthrow the King and Queen of Zerinth and places a curse on the world and on Divora so that she cannot do anything to stop him. But she had one final trick up her sleeve before the curse kills her; she uses the Grimoire to access the ability to go through space and time and be reborn on Earth.
Divora Walker is a lonely 20 year old woman with no purpose in life on Earth. When a big glowing stick magically appears in her bedroom, it takes her to another world where magic is real and she has been chosen by the Staff of Light to find the lost Grimoire that her predecessor has hidden.
After teaming up with a brooding, but sexy warrior, Divora goes on a quest to find the Grimoire and use its power to save Zerinth from the mad king Nexus.
