With this original male character, the story will divert from the story-line and will be unfold differently than the show but will also still be the same...if that makes sense. 
Also Grounders can read English in this story, I don't know why the writers chose to make it where reading was lost to time...as Titus couldn't read..if you remember...
Also I'm gonna try a different route this time..the OMC will fall in love with a girl.
Yes, Kent's name is a play-on Clark Kent, since Kent's sister's name is Clarke..I thought it'd be neat.
