2 years, It had been 2 years since I had seen him. 2 years of struggling with money but at least I was free of the hell of a school that Carter had put me through, he couldn't even survive a night without a woman In his bed. I was ready for his challenge. Game on. 2 years, it had been. 2 years since I had seen her sweet smiling, or mostly scowling, face. If the choice was in my hands, I wouldn't have left her but I had no choice. I'd come back to show her I'd change my ways and win her. ( WARNING: A TERRIBLE BOOK WITH NO PLOT )

Carter became so broken that he promised never to get married himself, then he met HER, Torah Daniels. He fell in love almost immediately and knew she was the one; the one who changed his mind about marriage. But, with a girl like that, there are bound to be some obstacles, some more lucid than others, and it also didn't mean that carter was completely ready to give up his childish ways and become a real man.
