In the heat of war against the Titans humanities last chance, the Survey Corps led by the brave and straight edged Commander Erwin Smith; are suffering heavy casualties and are in desperate need of help. Military generals have even convinced The Premier: Dhalis Zackley to take most of the soldiers out of the war outside the walls and into the cities. To focus on wars humanity can actually win. The expeditions outside the walls are on crushing defeat after another as a result the Survey Corps have started to lose the public's trust and respect. They're on the verge of being discontinued and soldiers are deserting one by one.

Things are falling apart faster than Commander Erwin Smith can fix them and the only thing that can save them is a miracle but little does he know that he'd find it in a notorious thief and her friends. That help him in more ways than one breaking one rule after another.
