"Zack wait." I call out to him, running past my impatient driver and the group of chattering student scattered all over the school grounds. Zack please I'm sorry,I didn't mean to hurt you. "Oh please, spare me the excuse." He shouts making everyone focus their attention on us. Sorry huh,is that all you got. You think you can do something outrageous as this expecting me to be calm." "I ...I didn't mean to."I say, suddenly stuttering. And just as I thought things weren't becoming any better, the people I least expected walked on me from four different directions. William from the cheerleading hangout, Justin from the back entrance of the cafeteria, Tristan from the football field and the scariest thing was Alan right in front of me with his fist balled. Everyone of them were fuming with anger, and I knew it was all because of me and my lies. My biggest nightmare just came alive, the scariest confrontation I dreaded was right in front of my eyes. "I'm fine," I state rather bluntly. "You don't look fine." "Then stop looking." He chuckles, and damn does he. His voice is dessert for the ears, his face is candy for the eyes. If I wasn't so pissed off I might've swooned over him. "How can I? When an angel is so close to me," He smirks. I fully turn myself towards him this time. "Were you there? That night?" I have to know before I think about him in the light any longer. "No." He doesn't even hesitate, "But my father was," "If I may ask, what in the hell prompted him to take my brother from a car accident?" He plasters on a tight-lipped grin, a small tick in his chin. "That's the thing, Hermosa, that night was everything but an accident."
