This short fanfic is based on a comic I found on Pinterest. I wrote it some time ago and thought I'd post it here. I do not own the comic, and I don't know who made it. It creates an alternate timeline for the events of S3E01 "Rapunzel's Return" from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. Rapunzel returns to Corona with Cassandra and Eugene. In the castle, they run into Varian, who is still a prisoner and has to do castle work (don't know if that's the correct term, it's something like community service). Rapunzel is determined to get through to Varian and maybe become friends again.

Cass had been looking for her destiny outside of Corona for several months when she gets an invitation to Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding and decides to go back. When she gets there, she's told Varian had been working on his water heaters in the tunnels under the castle and goes down to find him unconscious on the ground. Hours after he was found, Varian wakes up not only blind, but very sick. This is my first fanfic so tell me what you think, be honest. If you're reading this on teenfic.net, THIS FIC WAS STOLEN FROM WATTPAD AND AO3!! This was inspired by Lealtad Mortal (DeadlyLoyal) written by @kaede02mangaka I don't own Tangled the series or any of the characters from itComplete
Face Your Destiny | Tangled Fanfic
Just about 1 year after his fall and arrest, Varian alone in the darkness of his cell, longs for one thing. Meanwhile Cassandra's now endless power rises up, as she swears revenge on Rapunzel for what happened so long ago. Note: This is based off Tangled the Series which if you don't watch it you will be very confused. Sorry this thing isn't very good, it's my first fanfic. If you do somehow end up reading it, and wether you hate it or kinda like it, please tell me what you think! Cover art is not by me! (Couldn't read the name but it started with Cathy I think) Edit: it is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr! I am so sorry for stealing this in the past, if you somehow see this do forgive me! ~ 2025 Edit: Wow, it has been a hot minute. The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol. In the meantime, thanks for reading all this, and I hope whoever is still reading Varian fanfiction in this economy is living their best life. Thanks a ton, MiloComplete

"𝑾𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒕, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆." Everyone knew of Rapunzel. The golden-haired princess who was kidnapped as a baby and locked away in a tower for eighteen years, until she finally escaped and found her way back home. The kingdom's best known fairytale. What the people of Corona didn't know, however, was that Rapunzel had a little sister. A little sister whose parents kept her inside the castle in fear that she would be taken too. The kingdom's best kept secret. Princess (Yn) of Corona. Tangled The Series Story: In The Shadows
A Tangled the Series Sequel Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding is a week away. But when a earthquake hits, strange things start to happen. It's up to Varian to figure out what. The fate of the kingdom weighs heavily on Rapunzel's shoulders and Varian's past weighs heavily on his. Both have to face their inner demons and mistakes in order to save everyone from a threat that's much bigger than Corona. Aka my dream of a season 4 (but I don't work for Disney so I can be a little darker *insert manical laughter*) Rapunzel and Varian dual POV (Also, I do hope to draw their character designs eventually :)
Meeting Varian
[COMPLETED] It was hard for her. It was hard for him. Living in the world where she is hiding for the sake of herself. And living in a world where he is hated. If their fate combines, would it be destiny? She lives as a human. He lives as a cartoon. But what if, what if she made a way to break that? What if she could visit another dimension? ❝ Are you an angel? ❞ ❝ Well, if you want me to.. ❞ • ❬ ❊ ❭ • This is based on the small dream I had. So, I hope you enjoy reading :) This isn't really a temporary description. And this story will only consist about 5 chapters or more.Complete
