This short fanfic is based on a comic I found on Pinterest. I wrote it some time ago and thought I'd post it here. I do not own the comic, and I don't know who made it. It creates an alternate timeline for the events of S3E01 "Rapunzel's Return" from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. Rapunzel returns to Corona with Cassandra and Eugene. In the castle, they run into Varian, who is still a prisoner and has to do castle work (don't know if that's the correct term, it's something like community service). Rapunzel is determined to get through to Varian and maybe become friends again.All Rights Reserved

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
