A/N ~ This takes place after Endgame but in a reality where everyone survived. I think it ends in 2023 (due to the 'Blip.' Tell me if I'm wrong.) so this story takes place around 2024 or so.

Heather Darley has lived with her mother for as long as she can remember - which isn't long. She has no recollection of her life before the age of 7, which Heather thinks is normal, seeing that her best friend, Morgan Lister, has the same issue. The two girls have suffered through almost 9 years of abuse and pain, constantly living in fear, and with no father figures to top it all off.
Morgan and Heather leave everything they know in Chattanooga, Tennessee to make their way to New York City in hopes of finding a new life. What greets them when they arrive is far from what they had expected and hoped for in the city...
