Laying low until her 24th birthday seemed like an easy feat to Aerin. With the collateral damage of a childhood she'd rather forget dragging behind her and her will to keep going slowly deteriorating, the absolute last thing she wanted was for everything she thought she left behind coming back to haunt her.
Meeting Gabriel seemed like a stroke of luck in a game she was continuously losing. Until they both realize the other has secrets they're not willing to share. She spent the day showing demonstrations as the other skaters and hockey players observed. They all had their eyes somewhere but Noah only saw Maya.
