The Kingdom of Terracen welcomes the birth of the King's twin daughters. Koa Valda and his wife, Briar Valda, have been married for ten years and rulers of Terrasen for eight. They're loved by everyone who lives in the Terracen kingdom and have done everything in their power to provide a safe, and wealthy, kingdom.

The kingdom suffers two tragedy's and the people of Terracen are forced to live under the rule of someone who wants nothing more than to break what Koa and Briar had built. The twins are separated and are forced to grow up away from each other. It was all apart of the plan, however, the plan never included what would happen when the girl's grew up.
