Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger finally get along. Best friends. End of their 8th year at Hogwarts, the Golden Trio move into Grimmauld Place with Sirius Black, Harry Potter's godfather. Draco and his 3 best friends, Blaise Zabini, Daphne Greengrass, and Pansy Parkinson go to live their pre-planned lives in the wizarding world. By mid summer after 8th year, Blaise leaves his life within the wizarding world behind. Moves to the middle of London in an apartment building. He needs a roommate. But Draco is engaged. You didn't live with a female roommate at the time, still. Ron Weasley walks back into his life. Hermione lives across the hall. Harry is marrying Ginny Weasley. But no Draco in their lives.

Over the summer something terrible happen to Harry. He was very scared to tell his boyfriend of 2 years, Draco Malfoy, about what had happen. He tells Draco and it doesn't go as planned, Harry didn't even get to tell draco his full story. Now he's stuck dealing with his problem alone. Hermione finds herself out of place after the war. Really out of place. ~The students of Hogwarts have returned for their Seventh Year that they were unable to attend, a year prior. Ron and Harry, getting ready to finish their Seventh Year and become Aurors, like they planned. After Hermione turns down Ron, for feeling wrong about being with him, she feels alone. Scared. Out of sorts. But she isn't the only one. Draco Malfoy sits at the other end of the Great Hall, by himself, surrounded by the other Slytherins, all avoiding him except for Theo Nott, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson. The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood?
