My names Adira, I'm 20 years old and still live with my parents. Not by choice, if it was, I'd have left years ago. I get used and abused by both parents for no reason at all, and if there is a reason I've got no idea what it is.
I'm planning to run away for this, from everything. I won't get far but I've saved a lot of money over the past few years from birthdays and christmas so I can go somewhere else in the country soon.
I just hope they don't try and follow me.

I never thought I would be in this position. Fighting a battle I can't win, facing a future I can't control.
