The violent Neighbor. A scum, a great enemy with a purpose to kill.
First you come down with a fever. As you struggle to keep your strength and as your skin fades to a pale thinness, you lose your mind. The Neighbor then leaks blood from the body, making sure that no matter how much is replaced, the body fails. Suddenly, you begin to struggle to even breathe. The Neighbor drowns you. It's final blow? It's a coin toss that ends your life with violent shaking, or stopping the heart. The Neighbor leaves your body and moves onto the next.
Sam and Fara are caught in the midst of The Neighbor's appearance to society. Afraid for their lives, they are not to breathe, nor be in the presence of anything that has been affected by The Neighbor.
There is only one problem:

When you are infected with the virus, there are four stages. 1) Your fever will shoot up and everything will become intensified on a maximum level. If we had seen things in the right way the right perspective we would've have alot to share and alot to give . Nathalia Colman was separated from her family the day of the outbreak and had been on her own ever since. She never came in contact with another human being until she stumbled upon a boy... A Country Life
Three hundred years after the fall, the known world is beginning to regain a semblance of order, with the sword the ultimate power once more. Separated from her father, a young girl has to learn to survive in a foreign land haunted by tribes of ghosts and roving bands of piratical thralls to a sadistic King. A watcher keeps lonely vigil from within a fortress that has been under siege for hundreds of years, while a soldier dies for the twenty-third time, and dies again while wondering if he is going mad. First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1. For Al McDermot and his friends, growing up in this time is even harder, as they discover the virus the world supposedly had a handle on has mutated, unleashing a whole new, more dire and advanced threat. Old worries and conflicts come back to the surface in Al's hometown of Toronto and in the rest of North America, against the backdrop of an entire world in conflict. The best informed and the most talented tacticians survive, while the fate of those who aren't is no longer guaranteed by any cure or vaccine. It's no longer just an outbreak; it's war.
