They called her a monster. They never saw her break. After centuries of silence, Medusa lives alone in a forest of stone-haunted by gods, hunted by men, and burdened by a curse that turns love into ash. Her name, once sacred, is now a warning whispered in fear. But everything begins to change the day a blind witch named Nyxara steps into her world. Nyxara has survived exile, rejection, and a magic that heals as easily as it kills. She was cast out for being too dangerous, too different, too queer-and yet, the goddess Selene gave her a name, a purpose, and a vision: Find the Gorgon. Teach her she is not broken. As Medusa and Nyxara grow closer, so do the eyes of the gods. Selene watches with quiet pride. Athena watches with unraveling fury. And Medusa must decide if she can rewrite her story-not as a monster, but as a woman who survived the divine and still dared to love. A story of myth reclaimed, trauma unbound, and love powerful enough to turn stone into flesh again. DISCLAIMER: the story of Medusa that we all know and love is not from Greek mythology. This book is not inspired by Greek mythology. It is inspired by the poet Ovid that made a book named metamorphosis in the Roman mythology which told the tale of Medusa where she was born a human died of Gorgon please do not confuse the two. In the Greek mythology Medusa was born in Gorgon died of Gorgon she was part of the three sisters born to a sea deity she had no background nothing she was only known for having snakes for hair. In Roman mythology the poet Ovid dove in into her story with his own imagination which is a big part of the reason why she is always shown as a monster and not a survivor please remember that.
