Ide is almost glad when her arch-enemy Konner Skipper approaches her with a plan: to go to the beach for vacation. As it seems like none of Ide’s classmates have ever been anywhere outside of Naturalleies, they are all excited by this new prospect of a summer trip. But first they have to get their parents to agree to the plan.
Meanwhile, Ide has to keep a huge secret revealed to her by Konner—a secret that could destroy the perfect facade of Naturalleies. Relatives Ide never knew she had show up at her house, and Ide finds herself strangely drawn to her cousin Eldric. But is everything what it seems, or is Eldric hiding something too?
