There are many versions of this tale, such as the King stealing lettuce from the hag's garden, and as a punishment the hag took his newborn daughter. Some involve the hag stealing the baby because of it's beauty and youth. Though many versions of this tale has been told over the years, the plot remains the same. It was about a young girl with long hair who was kidnapped at a young age by an old hag, and then confined in a tower with only one window. This version of the tale involves the hag's past.
