As prideful as ever, Dawn refuses to ask her father for help because she can no longer trust him. Instead, she summons a pesky hellhound and strikes a dangerous deal with the malevolent beast in which she could end up as dog-chow if she's unable to uphold her end of the bargain. As Dawn takes matters into her own hands, she eventually unveils her father's alignment with the imp-man and the demon. She's in for a shock when she discovers the mystery behind her father's pact with them that had ultimately led to her mother's death--and how it all happened before Dawn.
