Contains spoilers for The Rise of the Skywalker, so please do not read if you haven't watched Episode 9 yet!!
AU: A story where Ben Solo survives after The Rise of Skywalker, and we take a closer look at why he turned to the dark side, became Kylo Ren, and then the rocky journey becoming light-filled again.
Disclaimer: I am not making any money off of this story, nor do I own any of the Star Wars characters. This story is simply written for fun and for others to enjoy for free.
UPDATE: (01.12.2020) Currently, I am revamping this story. The first chapter is going to remain the same (with an extra part in it), but Chapter Two is going to change completely. I've sat down the past two days and squeezed it into my crazy busy schedule to begin typing up an outline for the entire FanFic so I know where I'm headed and what's going to happen in each subsequent chapter. So no worries, there are more coming! It just might take another week or two. Thanks!

Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! Star Wars: Son of Skywalker | Book I: The Force Awakens
This is basically "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", but in an alternate universe about Luke's non-force sensitive son Jacen Skywalker, and how he is dealing with his cousin's turn to the Dark Side, and how he must watch over Rey, a scavenger who doesn't know she's a force user at this point. Now he must help the Resistance, led by his Aunt Leia, search for his father in order to defeat the First Order, and bring peace to the galaxy once and for all... And yes I'm imagining Andrew Garfield as Jacen because he looked like a Skywalker, and I thought he would fit in with the new trilogy. Some of you might cast Luke's son with Sebastian Stan or someone else that looks like Mark Hamill himself, but Garfield is my pick. It all takes place between both the perspectives of Jacen and Kylo Ren/Ben so they could have a developed relationship as cousins, along with some flashbacks. Rey's POV will also be a part of the story. Book 1 will be based over Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The next 2 chapters of this AU trilogy will also be based on the new trilogy, but mixed with some original elements to the story. He wants to help his soon to be people and when he gets in an argument with his mother, Leia Organa, about marriage he runs away. He wants to marry for love, not be just another king worried about his wealth and only his health. Ben poses as a begger, but runs into trouble in the make shift streets of Jakku and is saved by a young scavenger named Rey. Rey offers him shelter and he stays with her, learning about Jakku through her eyes, but leaves her when he hears of his father, Han Solo, becoming ill. Ben returns to the palace and informs his father of his new info and his father deems him ready to be the new King. Will Ben be able to make Rey is Queen against his mother's wishes and the law? Will Rey even want to be queen after finding out who Ben really is after he has lied to her then abandon her?Complete
Star Wars Male Reader X Son of Han Solo & Princess Leia Organa Episode 7 TFA
This is a Star Wars story that takes place during the sequel trilogy (The Force Awakens - The Rise of Skywalker.) Like with my other story I will be changing some things up for this story as I like the idea of having these changes in there. I'll also be using some characters from the Star Wars Lengend's continuity. Which is one of those changes. I'll also be spitting this story into three parts one for each movie. (Though you could probably tell by the title.) Also I'll be changing up a couple of the characters ages and a bit of the timeline. And just so everyone knows in this story Rey will not be related to the Emperor. Which is another change. He will still have an interest in turing her to the darkside but that's it. Rey will have a surname though and it will be taken from the original Episode 9 Dual of the Fates script that was written. And like with the other story.
