With Summer coming around, fifteen and sixteen year old Lexi and Veron want nothing more than to learn how to be independent and be seen as mature. Once their junior years were over, they knew the first step into achieving their dreams and see if they can properly save money without splurging it recklessly was to get a job. But after applying to who knows how many places and every one shutting them out for lack of experience, they felt they'd never achieve their dreams.
That is until a kind but elderly and mysterious man named Mr. Widkenheimer offered them both positions in his quaint antique/toy shop for a minimum hourly wage per day, which was more than enough for them. Yet after sometime working there, they start to notice more and more odd things about both the toy shop and the old man himself. It finally takes a doll named "Patty" to act as the missing link, doing whatever means necessary to aid the duo and to piece together the mystery and to hopefully warn them in time..
