I wake up to a phone ringing, I feel the bed shift as Kale gets it. I moan and bury my face in the pillow as he answer. All I hear is a mumbled okay before I feel him kiss me and wrap his arms around me. He nuzzles his head into my neck, he rests it against his mark making me groan.
"Baby I gotta go."
"What? Why?" I ask.
"There's trouble at the lake, I gotta go help okay? I'll come right back okay?" He says and I nod.
"Can I burrow some shorts and a shirt?" I ask getting out of bed. 
"Yeah baby, over there in that drawer." He says pointing over towards the dresser. I nod and change while he does the same. He comes over to me when he's done and he kisses me. I wrap my arms around him and he hugs me tightly. He looks down at me and smiles.
"I love you beautiful."
"I love you too, Kale." I didn't realize I wouldn't see him after that.
