It's been ten years since Alec returned to the very place he swore he would never return to, the plantation where he once worked for the summer. Under the unexpected request of Jessie's father who, at one point in time, was good to him. Jessie is the Heiress to a cotton plantation and has lived in Addison, Alabama all her life. In returning Alec and Jessie end up dealing with feelings that once made them throw everything else aside for love. Stumbling upon some hardships, and discovering a few secrets they never knew about, the two must figure out if a typical summer romance was just a fling? or maybe the against all the odds stacked against them that that one Southern Summer that started it all was the real thing?
