What if there are other realities? What if they are just beyond our reach, just through the veil of this reality? What if there were those amongst us that could pass through that veil as easily as walking through a door? What if our government had conspired to control, suppress, and otherwise keep hidden the fact that these individuals exist? What if you were one of them?

That is the world that Tim Calhoun has grown up in though he doesn't know it....yet. He has been a screw up most of his life, an underachiever but has somehow managed to become a decent detective. All of that is about to change when his best friends brother becomes the victim of a strange crime. A single crime and one symbol lead him and his partner down a path that will reveal a hidden world he would've never thought possible and his place in it is even more unbelievable.
