Every year I release a new installment of poetry, prose, flash fiction, and other short pieces of literature that have accompanied me through my days, along with the occasional photo to help tell the story. This year is no exception. Let these words guide me through the darkness and bring me back to the light.

My previous writing scrapbook was filled to the brim with my thoughts put down to words, so now it's time to finish off the year with a new edition of my writing scrapbook. This year my emotions have gone awry, so I've been unable to put away my pen and paper. This will contain various snippets of my writing, such as poetry, short stories, excerpts, quotes, vents, and other mediums.

I'm posting this looking for some feedback. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. I've named this collection Whispers of the Soul because each piece captures my curiosities, the feelings I longed to experience, realizations, and deep reflections on the world around me as I grew up. Now, at 19, I feel a bit more confident in sharing these pieces-both what I've already written and what's yet to come. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. Anyways enjoy, I try not to be too pretentious but I don't really care because again this is a vent piece of work.

Life experiences by 123wonderwoman

I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.
