    Calynn Black has never known magic without a look of terror permeated on her face. Druella, her mother, has no other plans than to present her to the dark lord to fulfill plans so important that the little girl is unaware.
    
    But thanks to her best friends Lily Evans, Meryl Johnson, and a weirdo from Spinner Street, Calynn will have the opportunity to use magic to make her smile for the first time. And when she succeeds, will she be able to torture a person ... again? What will happen when she has to choose between her life or the dark side? What will happen when she meets love?
