In the first book, the truth behind the 'twins' was revealed and the witty meaning behind the title was hopefully discovered. But now, for the second book, instead of truths and funny word-play being revealed, secrets are. And lots of 'em. The triplets and their powers stand against a risky family challenge, Natalie and Tobias' relationship is put to the test and Dauntless, along with the faction system, faces a big change. All while the Harris family continues to grow, quite faster then you'd think, and quite faster than some would like. But of course, it's all apart of the plan, right? Amity's first ever set of triplets will once again put a mark onto the city of Chicago, bigger than four very inconclusive, and four very powerful minds, could ever imagine.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away.
