Since Ruby's dad died, they've been having a hard time with finances. The economy is down as well. So when her mother gets a job in Chicago, they decide to move. Ruby decided there's nothing left for her in New York so doesn't protest. She leaves all her friends, her best friend and her boyfriend behind and marches head first into her new life in the city of Chicago........
