In most stories, there is a Hero and a Villain. Good and Evil. Usually the hero goes through a struggle, but always prevails in the end. Unfortunately that's not the case this time. There isn't always a happy ending where everything is perfect, and that's reality. You can't always win, even if you are the hero.

Hey guys! So this was a project for my English class. We had to write a 'short story' based on a randomized hero, scenario, villain, and outcome. This was mine. Now this was supposed to be a short story. . .I may have went a bit overboard. Sorry. I did use a bit of a crossover with Danny Phantom in this, but you don't need to know anything about it to read this. Anyway, I hope you Like it.

Broken Mask
Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? It's been around ten minutes, but I haven't heard anything. Just then I heard a door close, probably the front door to the house or apartment.
