~'New Mushroomton' was a much smaller city than (Y/N) (L/N) had originally imagined. She had previously read about the town a few years before she graduated from 'Blue River High School' in the state of 'Floradill.'

~She was fascinated by the news of magic and the stories of a boy and his older brother. Some say they defeated a dragon; some say they even tamed the beast; others say the dragon still roams, or that there was no dragon nor curse at all and that the whole thing was a hoax to gather publicity, (which it obviously succeeded in). But of course, most of these were just simple ongoing rumors spread across social media.

~Even with the evidence, most still refused to believe that there was no more magic left in the world. But not (Y/N), she believed that the art of magic still lived within a small portion of everyone's soul, you just have to master it. Yet, without using and practicing magic, that small bit will disappear as you age, and soon it would surely fade away from society.

~With what this place had come to, compared to its history from years prior, it was much blander and less enchanted. Now everyone uses cars and planes to travel, and electricity for phones and televisions. Most magic nowadays is used for parades and circuses for entertainment purposes, though, (Y/N) had never experienced it, for the state that she once lived in banned anything to do with magic and spells. . .
