Alexandra Thermopolis, or Lexi as everyone calls her, is the eldest twin sister of Mia Thermopolis. 

Despite being twins, they couldn't be more different: Mia is comfortable with being invisible, lacks confidence in herself, and two close friends she can count on: Lilly and Michael Moscovitz. 

Lexi, on the other hand, is semi-outgoing, pretty, cool and popular, confident, hates Lana and her minions, Josh Bryant, and - like her sister - has two friends that she can count on: Isabelle "Izzy" and Daniel "Danny" Harrington. 

For the past fifteen years, Lexi and Mia thought they ordinary twins. It wasn't until an invitation to tea by their grandmother, Clarisse, they find out the truth: both are the legitimate heirs to the Genovian throne - the Twin Princesses of Genovia. 

They agree to take Princess lessons until the Genovian Independence Day Ball, which falls two weeks before their birthday. Can they survive the pressure or cave in to the high expectations that's necessary for Royal Life?
