Saving Elliot • One Shot

This one shot is set some ten-fifteen-twenty years in the future, set in the point of view of almost-eight-year-old Marigold Fintry.

Yep, you guessed right! She's Elliot Jensen's and Elliot Fintry's daughter!

And Marigold has two little sisters, Lily and Tulip, five and three, and their mom is expecting a fourth child.

The problem? The fourth child turns into eight, and with octuplets, there is risk that Marigold's mom won't be able to make it, as well as the risk that none of the children will make it. And if they do, what will happen with eight new additions to an already-large family?

At the news, Marigold's father goes into a slight depression, but Marigold has an idea to bring him back to his old self; she's going to take him on a little trip… a trip where she will finally prove that he is, in fact, one of those who do. And then, they're going to help Marigold's mom and do everything they can to keep her happy before delivery time comes.
