"go away!" Nico screamed. The ground cracked open and swallowed the skeletons that were attacking Percy, leaving only a long scar. How did that happen? What was that? Nico had no idea. All he knew was that his sister was gone, dead. The camp was the last place he wanted to be, Percy was the last person he wanted to see. He ran towards the forest, not looking back. 

   Following the plotline of the original series for the most part and starting from when Nico learns that his sister is dead, this is not so much a fanfiction as it is a retelling of sorts, through the eyes of Nico Di Angelo.

She doesn't understand why all of these people who were painted as best friends have grown so distant. But the biggest thing she doesn't understand? Definitely her existence.
