"No one evil eyes should fall on you both.." Annapurna Maheshwari affectionately caressed sanskar's cheek showing her pure happiness.

"Jiji.. Now it's time to perform their marriage." Sujatha remembered annapurna about ragini and laksh's marriage.

"Oh yes sujatha. Pandit ji, shall we start the rituals for their marriage now?" Annapurna asked excited for which the pandit nods and started chanting mantra's.

Everything is happening as planned, Swara and Sanskar are married now after swara got freed from the jail proving her innocence with ragsan's help and they got married first while ragini and laksh's marriage is about to happen anytime as they have already started their wedding rituals.

"Hey.. I'm so happy you know. Finally we are going to get united." Laksh softly whispered near her ear while she blushed like a tomato which no one can notice, all thanks to that veil that is covering her face orelse everyone might have started teasing her already by now.

"My family got saved from her evil trap. I'm so happy for my family and for us too. It's all because of you, Thank you so much kavya. I'm happy today only because of you. A end card to ragini and her drama's." Laksh whispered once again which turned her world upside down.

Suddenly she reminisced something and she could not stop the tears that got pooled up in her eyes. Her hands started shivering, her legs were shaking already, her heartbeat raced up when she could not accept the biggest betrayal of her life. She felt like a corpse when she heard his confession, her wails were crushed by her own hands not letting it aloud to be heard by everyone especially she doesn't wanted to show him, her vulnerable state.

Gathering all her courage, she stood up for her dignity controlling her sobs that are ready to escape anytime.

Everyone's head snapped towards the bride who stood up half a way while performing her wedding ritual.

"Beta. What happened?" Shekhar rushed to her being confused.

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

He stated like it's not a big deal that he swapped the brides. Her eyes widened in shock and disbelief. She stared at him without blinking her eyes. "You are an animal," she spat at him, realising now she had no escape from him. Her virtue, her innocence..... everything was going to get tormented by this cruel animal in whose arms she was trapped, probably for the rest of her life. Her words widened his grin until he heard those words of hers. "That must be the reason Prerna di escaped from her wedding and never returned because no girl would accept a pathetic monster like you to be her husband," she hissed in pain as he clutched her jaw. "Of course I am a monster, an animal..... that's why she ran away from our wedding, even after I fucking loved her with my everything," pain seared in his enraged eyes. "And your sin is much bigger than hers, but...." She felt him brushing his lips against her moistened cheeks, trembling her more terribly. "You are not fortunate like her because she succeeded in escaping from me but you ....." he grabbed a fist of her hair, welling more tears in her eyes. "No one and nothing would be able to save you from me ever, Aahana Malhotra," he shoved her down on the bed and hovered over her. "You chose to dress up as my bride on your own...." He untied the strings of her blouse. "You chose to get on the altar on your own so...." He completely untied her blouse, freezing her blood in horror. "Now, it my turn to make you accept our marriage on my own tonight, mi esposa," he husked against her mouth and her soul got deprived of every kind of sensation when she felt his lips against hers. . . . . Fate took a vigorous turn when an innocent 18 years old teenager, Aahana Malhotra, got shoved at the altar as a bride of the ruthlessly vicious 27 years old man, Zayansh Singhaniya but why she reached at the altar and why did he marry her when she was never supposed to be his bride in the very first place? (Edited.) "So, you will marry me because you have no other option?" I exhaled, my shoulders sagging. "Yes. But after marriage, if you don't want me in your room, I can move out or sleep on the couch. I won't touch-" He cut me off, his voice quiet but firm. "Roop, I know you don't like me, and you don't want this marriage. It's okay. I'll talk to your family. I won't force you into this." I felt panic rise in my chest. "No! Please... Don't talk to them. You are my only option." Anirudh stared at me, his sharp gaze studying my face as if searching for something-hesitation, doubt, regret. I didn't look away. I had nothing to hide. Nothing to lose. He exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "Roop, shaadi kisi majboori mein nahi ki jati." (Marriage isn't something that should happen out of compulsion.) A bitter smile tugged at my lips. "Yahi toh farq hai tumhari aur meri zindagi mein, Anirudh. Tumhare paas choice hai, mere paas nahi." (That's the difference between your life and mine, Anirudh. You have a choice. I don't.) His expression darkened. "Main tumhari family se baat karunga-" "Nahi!" I cut him off, my voice sharp with desperation. "You won't understand. You've never seen helplessness, Anirudh. You don't know that when a girl has no options, she only looks for survival." A strange silence stretched between us, thick with unspoken pain. Anirudh sighed and leaned back against the bench, his fingers tapping against his knee. "You're telling me you'd marry any stranger just because you have no other way out?" I stiffened. "You're not a stranger." His lips quirked up, almost amused. "Until a day ago, I was." I clenched my fists. "I don't care who you are. I just need to accept this match, or the other option will destroy me." Anirudh fell silent, his gaze steady on me. The playfulness in his eyes faded, replaced by something more intense, more thoughtful. Finally, he asked, "And what if I tell you that I don't want to marry you either?"
