"You only go up from rock bottom, Josh." "Yeah, or you die." ** Josh's relationship with drugs had never been too complicated. After his mother was sent to jail for an impressive twenty-something years worth of credit card fraud, he was put into foster care. He ate his first pot brownie when he was eleven years old, and things only escalated from there. Overdosing on cocaine in the girls' bathroom at his school was what finally landed him in rehab. Tyler was declared free of cancer two years ago, but that doesn't mean it didn't leave its marks- scars, nightmares, and a pounding headache whenever he went five minutes without half a dozen painkillers. Tyler had been through rehab before, but after he was caught stealing medicine to take, his brother knew he had to go back. Despite his optimistic attitude, Tyler knew he wasn't ever going to get better. Nobody had to know that, though. [trigger warning]
