Sent after her a royal guard named Thadeous seeks her high and low and gains closeness to her through the things she leaves behind. They come in contact a few times but each time she eludes him and makes a grand escape.summer is a runaway making her home in the small town of Fayetteville.Thadeous eventually catches her and brings her back home. Summer turns 18 and in her quitillian reveals that thadeous is her true mate but Summer is already betrothed to the groomed Duke of the royal hierarchy.
