When the esteemed Wightwhisper family gets thrown out of court for their use of dark magic and exiled, they find themselves unable to find solace in the surrounding kingdoms. Twenty-one winters have passed since that dark night of betrayal, and as the eldest members of the family have died, the banishment has been lifted. Now their eldest daughter looks for their place back in the noble ranks...and revenge.

Most of the citizens didn't like Sol because he didn't share the same blood as his family but more importantly than that they were scared of his mysterious red eyes and only the queen and king knew where he came from.
