This isn't a story. I don't really know how to describe it other than say it's a warning and I reality check that I feel many people need. It talks about a issue that is controversial. If you feel you will get offended or annoyed then don't read, but for anyone know is curious I want you to read and really think about what is discussed in this 'story' because I believe it is important.

"I am a wild rose. I am free. I do not need your permission to grow. To bloom, to be the person I was always meant to be." In Martha's world, an alternative earth, the people follow the rules of 'The Grandmothers'. When you turn twenty five you are shelved, no longer allowed to date and forbidden from marrying. The earth is still recovering from the third world war. Resources are controlled by the Elites and the environment is polluted and many countries are damaged beyond repair. The population that survived the war has been ravaged by chemical weapons. The genders are out of balance. For over sixty years the birth rate of female babies has far outweighed their male counterparts. Women are resigned to the knowledge that if they are not married by the time they are twenty five that they never will be. They have limited choices once they are shelved. Martha chooses to go against the wishes of her family. She will spend the rest of her life taking care of her widowed Father as opposed to working and giving all her money to her younger female cousins to supplement their dowry. Fate and time has a different plan. Martha is drawn into a battle between The 19 and The Wild Roses. Two different factions each wanting to use and twist Martha for their own ambitions. Will Martha be able to bloom and change the world for the better or will she crushed? ....This story is a work in progress, it has themes and ideas that may change over time as the story develops and as I learn what you like and dislike about the novel. Legends Life - Out of control
This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! Also please be aware that some of these will be notice's and this book does need and have a blood warning and a swear warning! Please do be aware if you can't deal with blood this book does get descriptive (Partly true) and I will be explaining what scars, burns and wounds look like and the pain felt for them. This book is more themed in the future than it is nowadays. You may also find some technology that is more futuristic, and there are things talking about the past. Most of the book is switching between views of the main characters. We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. Most of the characters in this will have birthdays and age in the background and it may not be written. There will be more books coming out so we will end this one on a cliffhanger.Complete

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.Complete
