Third Borns

After the depletion of resources, the United States government implemented a plan known as the 'Birth Class' or in some people's minds 'The Selection Clause', this allowed the most vital of resources needed to be diverted towards first born children of families, first.

The second born children of families were given a cut of the resources in exchange for serving the first borns, this eventually led to a caste seperation between the two as the seconds tolerated the first born children but the first were wary of the seconds.

The third borns are the 'Forgotten', 'Discarded', 'Unneeded', basically fed scraps from the resources, a mass exodus ensued causing villages and towns to lose an unprecedented amount of people and have lower number of guards to protect from the wildlife.

This is the story of how three young adults break down the barriers that have been set in place for about 20 years after the Resources War.
