Fate and Destiny (The Fated Series, #2)
A kingdom across the sea, a man in pain clawing at a hated king who bears two shadows who protect him. A child, born from a mother with the powers of the Gods, screaming at a blood-soaked bed. A boy, a Prince, kind and full of the flame of life, sitting beneath a moon bug lit sky. Darkness enfolds the lands, its grasp claiming the continent and making its way from an already broken island, only to be stopped by the hands of fate. The hands of the girl and the Prince, and their love for the people in need of protection. This is their prophecy. This is their destiny and their fate depends on it. The Elemental rulers and their family are just beginning to find allies from unlikely and unimaginative places while creatures of myth and legend resurface from their campfire tales, and things aren't going as planned, so they'll have to find myths and legends of their own. Shouldn't be too hard. #6 - #strong-heroine #41 - #banter **Average Word Count Per Chapter: 8,000 **Edited (x2) LET ME KNOW IF YOU SPOT GRAMMAR ISSUES! *****Last Edited: 12/14/2024 NOTE FROM ME! - I very much model my works to resemble published examples, so there are no notes in any chapters from me, trigger warnings for chapters, etc. Just the world my brain likes to escape to every now and then. Bound To You
"I'm sorry Luna," I said, with the little bit of respect I could muster and slightly bowed my head. "But I can't simply forgive you. You're still thinking that I'm no good for your son. I want to be a part of your family and be happy with you guys and also make your son happy. But right now your thinking I'm just some whore that doesn't know how to properly love your son the way you love him." "Mother, what does she mean by your still thinking?" All I saw on Andre's face at that moment was the worry he felt for his mother. I knew his mother wasn't like this. I didn't know her personally since I haven't been around for a long time but something was definitely wrong with the current Luna. "I'm sorry son but I just can't come to terms with what has happened. I need a bit of time to process." "Does 90 minutes cover the time you need dear?" the alpha said. He had a worried expression on his face too. What did he mean by 90 minutes? Did something happen when I was in that dream? Follow the life of Katalina Regina as she starts her journey on finding out her true power, her true potential and maybe even her king. Will she find a way to surpass all the trials and errors in her way? Or will she fail miserably and die trying? Keep reading to find out! Rejecting the Alpha
I glared up at him my eyes narrowed, "Excuse me?" I was beyond livid by the words that just came out of his mouth. My glare didn't falter when Parker towered over me, clenching his jaw while trapping me against his desk. "You heard me." Parker's voice was low and intimidating that it made me feel so small. But I wasn't going to let him get to me. Standing up taller, I snapped, "I will not be your personal toy, available for you to do just as you please! I do not want to be held captive against my will, and not even have a say in anything. To be honest, I don't even want a mate." "You will do everything and anything I say, do you hear me?" Parker growled grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him. Without even thinking I said the first thing that came to my head but meant every word. "I, Jasmine Davis, reject you Alpha Parker Mason, as my mate." * Jasmine Davis is the daughter of the Beta of the Moonlit Waters Pack. She's sarcastic and having a mate is that last thing on her mind. Jasmine gets the attention of most of the male population in her pack but she ignores them. What happens when Jasmine's mate happens to be the ruthless Alpha of the neighboring pack, the Lunar Shadow Pack. What happens when she doesn't want a mate especially, Alpha Parker? * [Highest rank: #1] [WARNING] - mild language and some steamy scenes* [Unedited] Read at your own risk! I don't need or want to be part of this supernatural crap." "I don't understand," I said. "You don't feel anything for me?" she shook her head. I kneeled down in front of her and held her face in my hands. "When I touch you I actually feel sparks. You don't feel anything when we touch?" She grabbed my hands and pulled them away from her face. "I'm sorry. I don't." I shook my head and sat back down. It's never too late to hop onto the track of fantasies "I might be the princess of the moon, but I can also be the bringer of your doom." ----- All the characters, kingdoms, names, and places are my ideas. Any resemblance to real ones is purely coincidental. The story contains some violence and some explicit scenes of gore, but nothing too bloody or disgusting. Keep in mind, that this is the first book I've ever written, and English isn't my first language. Any mistakes or twists of words are unintentional. I'd do better than this in the future so 🐻 with me.Abgeschlossen
