It's 1982; Roland Orzabal and his band Fears are just starting to take off in the UK after releasing their first single. When the band's bassist and driver suffers a sudden breakdown, their manager insists on hiring a professional driver.
Enter Curt Smith. An aspiring musician himself, he has yet to find a successful avenue as a bass player and vocalist. In trying to stay as close to the profession as possible he has started driving for local acts-with a fast growing reputation as being the best.
