Broken Dreams

Natsu Dragneel attends Fairy Tail University. He is a basketball star. All the girls go absolutely crazy for him. But can you blame them? He's the hottest guy on campus. He is in school for an education, because his father wants him to take over the company. He doesn't mind having to do that because business seems like a 'fun' idea. He just does basketball as a hobby so he won't be 'bored' while he is in school. Well, that's what he says anyways. Deep down in his heart he knows that basketball is his passion, and that's what he wants to do.

Lucy Heartfilia also attends Fairy Tail University. She likes music. Anything to do with it. From singing and playing instruments to dancing along to the music. She is a great pianist, and also is an amazing singer. Her father wants her to become a scientist. Or what he calls an 'Achievable career'. She decided she would study. She has been there since she was 18 years old. She's now 23 so she only has the last year to go before she can leave the school. She usually doesn't stay at the school, because her father wouldn't let her. But he finally said it was okay, and let her stay there.

Lucy's flat is right next to Natsu's, and they never really see each other since Lucy is always studying and Natsu is always playing basketball. One day Lucy's friends drag her to the game where Natsu is playing, and that's where he sees her.
